Split Pot Poker
Poker is a game of chance, and the players who are winning at a poker game often share the pot. A split pot poker game is different from other types of poker in that all players win, but the winner can also share the pot with the other players. The best way to learn the game of poker is to play with a group of people. In fact, poker is the easiest game to learn, so it is worth the effort to get a group together.
Two players with two identical hands are called “tied” and the pot is split between them. In the case of an identical pair, the next card will determine the winner. For instance, a high pair consists of a Q, J, or a pair of aces, and a low pair has three aces. After the players have revealed their hands, the winning hand is the highest ranked hand. In this case, players may discard up to three cards and take the next four cards from the deck.
The highest ranking hand in a poker game is called the “best hand”. It includes a pair of cards of the same rank, plus one card of a higher rank. In addition, if a player has more than one five of a kind, the higher card wins the pot. The other hand is called a “bad hand”.
